4 days Kibale and semuliki national park safari introduces you to the home of primates that’s Kibale national park where you will get to search for chimpanzees and spend with them an hour. As well as Semuliki national park where you will have a nature walk to the Sempaya hot springs as well as a game drive where you will spot mammals such as elephants, leopards, buffalos, Uganda kob among others.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK-BIGODI SWAMP
In the early morning, you will be picked by the African Based safaris guide and brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will embark on a journey to Kibale national park with a stopover at the equator for a picture moment as well as buy souvenirs. After you will have lunch in mbarara and then proceed to the national park. On arrival you will have a nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will spot primates such as vervet monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, white and black colobus monkeys as well as bird species such as yellow billed barbet, black bishop, white spotted flufftail and many more. After you will check in your lodge relax and have dinner as you prepare for the next day activities.
DAY 2; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and head to the parks headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations of the trekking. After, you will head into the forest in search of the chimpanzees in groups of 6 people. While on the trek, you will spot other primates such as red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, black and white colobus monkeys and many more. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch their behaviors as well as take photos and videos.
After you will have lunch and after embark on the journey to Semuliki national park which is a 3 to 4 hours’ drive. On arrival at the national park, you will check into your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK
You have an early morning breakfast and then head for a morning game drive within the savannah grasslands of Semuliki national park. While on a game drive you have to follow different game tracks where you will spot animals such as elephants, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, white tailed mongoose, leopards and bird species among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head to the sempaya hot springs. While on a nature walk, you will walk in the forest with an experienced guide to the hot springs with amazing views of primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys as well as birds, plants and butterflies among others the hot springs are divided into two the male and female hot springs where you will get an opportunity to boil eggs, matooke within the hot water. After the hot spring tour, you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After having a relaxed breakfast in the morning, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. You will have an enroute lunch on the way and on arrival your guide will drop you at the airport for your flight back home or at any place of convenience.
