4 days chimpanzees and crater lakes safari takes you to two national parks that is Kibale forest national park as well as queen Elizabeth national park. Kibale forest national park is famous for being a home to a number of primates and mostly the chimpanzee. While on a safari, you will visit the biggest Crater Lake and main supplier of salt which makes the safari memorable.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
The safari driver will pick you and brief you about the Uganda safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Kibale national park. There will be a stopover in mbarara for lunch as well as the equator for a picture moment. After you will continue with the journey up to the national park. On arrival, you will head to your lodge and freshen up as you wait for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and be transferred to the park’s headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head to the misty forest in search of the chimpanzees.
Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend an hour with them and even take photos. After, you will head to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth national park. On reaching, you will check in the lodge and relax, have dinner, and have a night stay.
DAY 3; LAKE KATWE VISIT
Early in the morning after having breakfast, the safari driver will pick you and transfer you to the Crater Lake. Lake Katwe is found in the highest point of Queen Elizabeth national park on the Mweya peninsular. It’s known to be the biggest Crater Lake and the main supplier of salt in Uganda and thus no aquatic animal can survive there. Elephants, buffaloes and flamingos can be seen close to the baboon cliff. Lake Kitagata is fed by the salty hot spring water and gives a clear view of the kyemango crater. After you will head back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
DAY 4; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
Early in the morning after having breakfast, you will head to the national park for the morning game drive where you will spot animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and many more. After the morning game drive, you will proceed with the journey to Kampala. On arrival at Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
