3 days Kyambura Gorge safari takes you to the second largest national park which is Queen Elizabeth national park. Kyambura gorge is located in the far eastern corner of Queen Elizabeth national park. The gorge is referred to as the valley of apes by some tourist because of the presence of primates. The gorge is dominated by the tropical rain forest within the valley and the savannah above thus making a new world amidst the national park.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
The safari driver will pick you depending on your location and brief you. After the briefing, you will embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have a stopover at the equator in kayabwe for photography as well as visiting the craft shops. After you will proceed with the journey to the national park. On arrival you will check in your lodge and relax as you wait for dinner and the nest day activities.

DAY 2; NATURE AND PRIMATES WALK IN KYAMBURA GORGE –EVENING GAME DRIVE
You will have an early morning breakfast and then transferred to kyambura gorge. The gorge is crossed by the Kyambura River and that’s how it got its name. You will have a briefing and then set off on the nature and primates walk. You will walk through the tropical and riverine forest and the thick forest canopy in search of the chimpanzees as well as other primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons and red-tailed monkeys among others. You will as well watch birds such as blue-headed bee-eater, martial eagle, bar-tailed godwit, black rumpled buttonquail, pink backed pelican and white-winged warbler among others. After the walk you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head for an evening game drive where you will spot wildlife species such as lions, elephants, antelopes and buffaloes among others. After, you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation, have dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
In the morning after your breakfast, you will head to the park for the morning game drive and you will spot animals in their active state. After the game drive, you will continue with the journey back to Kampala via kasese fort portal road with an en-route lunch. On arrival to Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or any location as you advice.
