DETAILED SAFARI
DAY 1; PICK UP AND TRANSFER TO KIGALI
Depending on your location, the driver will pick you up and brief you about the safari. After you will start on the journey through the cyanika border. While on the journey, you will pass on Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda.
After reaching the park, you will check into the hotel and incase time allows, you will have a community tour around bwindi national park. Then after head to the hotel to relax as well as have dinner and a night stay
DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING
In the morning after breakfast, you will head to a national park headquarters depending on the sector on the gorilla trekking permit. The trekking involves you to move through the forest in search of the mountain gorillas and it takes 2 to 8 hours with the help of a guide. Once the gorillas are spotted, you will spend with them an hour as you study their behaviors such as the feeding patterns, how they breastfeed, play among others. You will be able to take pictures and videos for memories. After the trekking, you will be able to head back to your hotel for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER TO KIGALI
After breakfast in the morning, you will check out of the hotel and set off on the journey back to Kigali city. It’s estimated to be a 4 to 5 hours’ drive to reach Kigali city.
While in Kigali city, you will visit the Kigali genocide museum and lunch will be served. After you will visit the kimironko market where African crafts and arts are sold. After you will be dropped off to the place of your choice.
