The 3 days Uganda birding safari takes you to botanical gardens, mabamba swamp as well as Lake Mburo national park. You will be able to spot the prehistoric shoebill stork in mabamba wetland. You will as well lookout for other bird species such as the African finfoot, black-bellied bustard and brown-chested lapwing among others

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO MABAMBA SWAMP AND DRIVE TO LAKE MBURO
Early in the morning, you will be picked from your hotel, Entebbe and place of residence. Where you will be briefed about the whole safari and after you will set off to mabamba swamp in search of the prehistoric shoebill stork as well as other bird species such as Angola swallow, swamp flycatcher, olive bellied sunbird, knob-billed duck and African fish eagle among others.
After birding in mabamba swamp, you will head to Lake Mburo national park with lunch enroute as well as bird watching along the way. As you reach the national park, you will check into your lodge and in the evening head out to the park for another birding experience. After you will come back to your hotel for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; MORNING BIRDING AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
After having breakfast in the morning, you will head to the park for the morning birding experience. While on a game drive within the park, you will look out for bird species such as black bellied bustard, brown-chested lapwing, and coqui francolin. Grey-crowned crane among others. After you will head back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head to the afternoon boat cruise where you can lookout for the African finfoot, papyrus gonolek, white-backed night heron, and white winged swamp warbler among others. After you will return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO ENTEBBE AND AFTERNOON BIRDING AT THE BOTANICAL GARDENS
After having breakfast in the morning, you will drive back to Entebbe. While on the way, you will have a stopover at the equator in kayabwe as well as have lunch. Then after proceed up to botanical gardens in Entebbe in search of bathawk, golden-backed weaver, African grey parrot and orange weaver among others. After you will be dropped at your hotel or airport for your flight.
