1 day big five and big cats in Akagera N.P safari takes you to a picnic that is away from the city as you spot the big five species that is rhinos, African buffaloes, elephants, lions and leopards. Akagera national park is the only savannah park in Rwanda and is a home to a number of mammals which include the big 5 animals making it the only park with all the big 5 animals.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Early in the morning we shall leave Kigali and embark on the 1 day trip to Akagera national park which is 2 to 3 hours away from Kigali. The national park is mainly a savannah park with wildlife species such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and the lions which were recently introduced.
On reaching the national park, you will have a game drive in search of the big 5 as well as other species. The game drive lasts for 4 hours depending on the interest of animals and animal viewing. After the game drive, you will have a picnic lunch and drive back to Kigali.
