2 days tree climbing lions safari is an adventure that takes you to Queen Elizabeth national park which is Uganda’s second largest national park. The national park is famous for its unique tree climbing lions that aren’t found elsewhere in Uganda. The tree climbing lions are found in the ishasha sector and are spotted lying in the acacia and fig tree branches.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO ISHASHA SECTOR
The safari guide will pick you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have a stopover at the Uganda equator as well as Igongo cultural center in mbarara for lunch. After you will continue with the journey as you view crater lakes, Rwenzori Mountains and many more. On arrival at the park, you will check into your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2 MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
On the 2nd day of your Uganda Safari , you will have an early morning breakfast and head for a morning game drive. While on the game drive you will be able to spot the tree climbing lions lying in the acacia and fig tree branches looking at the antelopes feeding within the open savannah plains. Lions within the sector climb trees because they are running away from the ground hit, biting insects and so on. Besides the lions, you will be able to spot other animals such as elephants, Uganda kob, warthogs, buffaloes, waterbucks, topi as well as bird species such as grey-headed kingfisher, long-tailed night jar, white-headed barbet, African green pigeon and many more. After the game drive you will embark on the journey back to Kampala with an enroute lunch and a stopover at the equator. On reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or any place as advised.
