DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
On arrival, you will be picked by the safari guide who will brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE
After breakfast in the morning, you will go for a morning game drive on the delta area which is best for viewing animals. While on the game drive, you will spot animals such as Rothschild Giraffes, cape buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, elephants, waterbucks and oribis among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise on the Nile where you will have an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will spot crocodiles, hippos and birds on the river banks such as cormorants, bee-eater and king fisher among others. After viewing the falls at the bottom, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to kidepo national park found in the remote region of karamoja in kaboong district. The drive takes 7 hours with enroute lunch and a stopover at Gulu city. You will proceed to kitgum and connect to kidepo national park. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 4; GAME DRIVE IN NARUS VALLEY AND COMMUNITY TOUR
After morning breakfast, you will connect to the park for a morning game drive in the Narus valley. The area is famous for having the big 4 game such as elephants, lions, buffaloes and leopards. On a lucky day you will spot the cheetahs and hyenas. Other animals include giraffes, kobs, oribi and zebras among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will visit one of the communities around the park, learning about the karamojong culture and tradition. After the community tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 5; GAME DRIVE IN KIDEPO VALLEY
After having breakfast, you will head to the national park for another game drive in the kidepo valley. This is where you will find the ostrich birds and other animals. The area is next to south Sudan border to Uganda. While on the game drive, you will visit the hot springs of kanangorok. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 6; TRANSFER TO PIAN UPE WILDLIFE RESERVE
You will have morning breakfast and check out of the lodge and drive to pian upe wildlife reserve which is located in the north eastern part of Uganda close to Mount Elgon national park. The drive from kidepo national park to Pian upe wildlife reserve takes 5 hours. On arrival, you will check into your lodge and wait for dinner and night stay.
DAY 7; FULL DAY AT THE RESERVE
After morning breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in the savannah plains in search of wildlife species such as cheetahs, elands, Gunther’s dik dik, Uganda kobs, zebras, impalas and common Duikers among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a community tour where you will visit the local karamoja community which is next to the park for a cultural experience in dance and drama performances. While on the cultural tour, you will get to learn more about the community. After the visit, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 8; TRANSFER TO SIPI FALLS
After having breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive to see animals that you previously missed. Then after head to sipi falls in Kapchorwa district with about 2 to 3 hours drive. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch. Then after lunch, you will connect to sipi falls. The falls are comprised of 3 waterfalls with the highest fall dropping at 100m, the second at 80m and the third at 70m. After the visit, you will check into the lodge for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 9; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. The journey takes 7 hours with enroute lunch through mbale town and jinja. On arrival at Kampala, you will be dropped off at the location of advise or to Entebbe international airport for your flight back home.
