6 days Uganda sport fishing safari is an amazing activity since most of the parts in Uganda are covered by water giving an opportunity for the activity. Besides Nile perch, other types of fish you can catch are catfish, tilapia, tiger fish, genus alestes, and barbell. Therefore while on a Uganda safari you will head to jinja as well as Murchison falls national park where you will explore the park as you view the falls from the bottom and animals both the water and land.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO JINJA
Depending on the location, you will meet the safari guide and brief you about the Uganda safari. After the briefing you will embark on the journey to jinja. The drive is a 4 to 5 hours drive with a stopover at the mabira forest and enroute lunch. On arrival you will head to booked lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; FULL DAY SPORT FISHING EXPERIENCE
After your morning breakfast, you will head to the fishing experience on Lake Victoria. You will meet for a briefing and after the briefing you will be allocated fishing equipments then drive to the lake. Later after the fishing activity is done you will head back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, you will have breakfast and embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park. The drive is a 6 to 7 hours’ drive with enroute lunch. On arrival you will head to the lodge and freshen up as you wait for dinner and the next day activities.

DAY 4; FULL DAY SPORT FISHING
You will have breakfast and the safari guide will transfer you to the starting point where you will take a boat to the fishing grounds with your packed lunch. While on the Nile you will have higher chances to catch the Nile perch but it’s not guaranteed. Besides the Nile perch, you can catch tilapia, catfish, tiger fish and barbell fish. After you will head back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
DAY 5; ANOTHER DAY SPORT FISHING
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the starting point with your packed lunch and the guide will connect you to the activity. The sport fishing activity will take place in a different location on the Nile. You will have the chance to catch Nile perch, tilapia, cat fish and many more. After, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 6; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After having your morning breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. On arrival you will be dropped to the international airport for your flight back home or any place as advised.
