5 days sipi falls and Murchison falls wildlife safari is a leisure tour which takes you to the sipi falls in kapchorwa and Murchison falls. The sipi falls has 3 waterfalls which are separated by the steep hillsides on the boundary of Mount Elgon national park. Murchison falls as well is known to be the largest national park with a number of wildlife and the most amazing waterfalls in Africa found along the river Nile.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO SIPI FALLS

In the morning the safari guide will meet you and brief you about the  safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to sipi falls in kapchorwa. On arrival you will have lunch and connect to sipi falls which are located on the foot hills of Mount Elgon. Depending on the flexibility, you can hike 2 of the waterfalls or all of the 3 falls. After the hike, you will return to the lodge for a relaxation and prepare for the next day.

DAY 2; COFFEE PLANTATION VISIT AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the coffee plantation where you will explore the stages of coffee making and buy some if you wish. After you will proceed to Jinja for lunch and then continue to Kampala. On arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge for a night stay.

DAY 3; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK-ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

After having breakfast, you will be transferred to ziwa rhino sanctuary for a rhino trekking experience. On arrival, you will meet the rangers for a briefing and head to the starting point where you will start you’re trekking in search of the rhinos. You will spot rhinos coming close to them as you spend time in their presence. After you will have lunch and embark on the journey to Murchison falls which takes 3 to 2 hours. On arrival, you will pass through kichwabanyobo gate and proceed to your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

DAY 4; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE

In the morning after having breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive. This takes 3 to 5 hours depending on the animals available. You will be able to spot animals such as Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, elephants and Uganda kobs among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will head for a boat cruise along the Nile which gives an amazing panoramic view at the bottom of the Murchison falls. While on the cruise, you will spot crocodiles, hippos as well as birds such as bee-eaters, kingfishers and cormorants among others. After the boat cruise you will return to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

DAY 5; TOP OF THE FALLS VISIT AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

After having your morning breakfast, you will head to the top of the falls for a closer view of Murchison falls and uhuru falls and this takes about 2 hours. Thereafter, you will embark on the journey back to Kampala with enroute lunch in masindi and later proceed to Kampala. On arrival you will be dropped off at the Entebbe airport for your flight back home or any place of convenience.
