5 Days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari : This Uganda safari offers an amazing opportunity to go through Uganda’s smallest national park that is lake Mburo national park which is found in western Uganda and you will be able to see animals such as buffaloes hippopotamuses, giraffes, crocodiles, zebras, elands ad different antelope species.

The safari as well takes you to queen Elizabeth national park which is the second largest and gives an opportunity to spot the amazing tree climbing lions, a visit to the crater lakes, the amazing boat cruise on kazinga channel as well as game drives where you will see animals such as buffaloes, hippopotamuses, antelopes, elephants and lions among others

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1; Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park

The guide will pick you from the airport, and brief you about the whole Uganda safari plan and after set off to the western region of Uganda. A stop over at the equator for photography as well as refreshment. While at the equator there is an experiment to be done to prove the difference between the two hemispheres the south and north hemispheres by water and a funnel. The after we proceed with the journey to the smallest national park with a variety of wildlife grazing in the savannah. Upon arrival to Lake Mburo national park, lunch is served. After lunch in the evening we proceed to the evening game drive to have a glance to animals such as zebras, impala, bushbucks, leopard and topi and many more. After the evening game drive we head back to the hotel for a relaxation.

Day 2; Game Drive And Boat Cruise On Lake Mburo

On the 2nd day of your 5 Days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari, Very early in the morning you prepare for the morning game drive where you search for wildlife. You will be able to spot giraffes, elands, waterbucks, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, olive baboons as well as a number of bird species. After the morning game drive we head back to the hotel for a late breakfast, relaxation as well as have lunch.

After lunch, we proceed to the boat cruise on Lake Mburo with amazing sights such as crocodiles, hippopotamuses, as well as bird species such as African fish eagles among others. After the boat cruise we head back to the lodge for diner and overnight stay.

Day 3; Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park And A Game Drive

On arrival to the national park check in the hotel and then head for an evening game drive as you pass through the crater lakes. Day 4; Morning Game Drive And Boat Cruise On Kazinga Channel

On the 4th day of your 5 Days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari, An early morning pick up from the hotel to the morning game drive at around 6;30am. The lakes, grassy plains, tropical forest, swamps are a home to a number of wildlife species.

You will look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes among others in their natural habitat. After the morning game drive you will go back to the hotel for the late breakfast and have a refreshment. After lunch in the evening we head for the boat cruise which takes 2 hours. You will have a spot to the hippopotamuses, buffaloes, lions as well as other wildlife species. While at the cruise you will be able to spot various bird species such as shoe bill, yellow-bellied stork, pink-backed pelicans, saddle bill stork and jacana among others. Back to the shores, you will drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; Travel To Ishasha And Transfer Back To Kampala

Early in the morning, check out from the lodge and proceed to a game drive in ishasha sector where you will spot the rare tree climbing lions. This kind of species are spotted while hanging in the fig trees in the mid-morning. After we shall have lunch and proceed to Kampala and drop you off to the airport or place of residence.
