5 days Bwindi Gorillas and lake Mburo wildlife safari is an amazing and exciting safari which takes you to bwindi impenetrable national park where you will get an opportunity to spend an hour with the endangered mountain gorillas within their habitat. Later then head to Lake Mburo national park where you will spot views of wildlife species such as leopards, Uganda kob, warthogs, crocodiles, bushbucks among others which are seen while on a game drive and boat cruise.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
The safari guide will meet you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to bwindi impenetrable national park. While on the way, you will have a stopover at the equator in kayabwe where you will take photos and buy souvenirs then continue with the journey with en-route lunch. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will enter the forest in search of the mountain gorillas and the trekking takes 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on their location. Once the mountain gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch their behaviors and take photos and record moments. After the trekking, you will return to the park headquarters where you will be awarded your certificate for participating in the gorilla trekking and then return to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Lake Mburo national park. You will have enroute lunch as you enjoy stunning views. On arrival, you will go for an optional walking safari where you will spot different wildlife species, listen to birds singing, enjoy the cool breeze among others. After the nature walk, you will head to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 4; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
After morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive where you will spot animals such as waterbucks, errands, buffaloes, impalas, giraffes, topi among others grazing in the open savannah plains. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an amazing boat cruise where you will spot hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, buffaloes, waterbucks and warthogs drinking water along the shores, bird species such as fish eagles, bee-eaters, cormorants and kingfisher among others. After the cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 5; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. You will have enroute lunch and then proceed to Kampala. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the Entebbe international airport for your flight back home.
