While on the Uganda hiking safari you will experience a special experience that you have been looking for in Uganda. The mountain has 6 mountain peaks that exceed 4,500m of altitude above sea level. And these include Mt Stanley, Mt Speke, Mt baker, Mt emin pasha, Mt. Luigi di savoia and Mt. gessi.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1; Transfer To Rwenzori Mountain- Nyakalengija
On the 1st day of your 5 Day Mount Rwenzori Hiking Safari, A pick up from the hotel or from Entebbe and later embark on the journey to kasese via mbarara. Lunch at agip motel in mbarara and then proceed to kasese. While on the way you will spot landscape from hilly and fertile area with tea and banana plantations.
Day 2; From Nyakalengija To John Mattee Hut
Early in the morning we shall go to the Rwenzori headquarters at nyakalengija which starts with a briefing from the guides. The hike starts from the homes of the bakonjo people, follow the Mobuku River and cross the Mahoma River. The trail passes in an open bracken fern slopes and forests, up nyabitaba hut. A stop over at nyabitaba hut for lunch and then proceed to the Kurt Schaffer Bridge which is at the conference of mubuku and Bujuku Rivers. You will reach john matte and have dinner plus spending the night.
Day 3; From John Matte Hut To Elena Hut And Bujuku Hut
On the 3rd day of your 5 Day Mount Rwenzori Hiking Safari, Ready with the hiking gears early in the morning as you hike through the rocky area and use ropes on some spots to the Stanley glacier. You will proceed with the hike through the rocks to margherita glacier which is the highest peak of mount rwenzori and then descend back to Elena hut where you will stop over for lunch and then descend to bujuku hut where dinner will be served as well have a night stay.
Day 4; From Bujuku Camp To Nyabitaba Hut
After morning breakfast at bujuku you will move through the bigo bog and descend to the lower bigo bog to john matte and have a rest plus lunch. After lunch you will continue to descend up to nyabitaba hut where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 5; From Nyabitaba, Transfer Back To Kampala
After breakfast from nyabitaba, you will continue to descend up to nyakalegija at the park headquarters and prepare to head back to Kampala.
