DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO SEZIBWA FALLS
Depending on your location, the safari guide will meet you and brief you about the Uganda safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to sezibwa falls in mukono. On arrival at sezibwa falls, you will take part in a number of activities such as hiking to the waterfalls, guided nature walks and bird watching where you will be able to view a number of bird species such as great blue turaco, double tooth barbet, white browed robin chat and common bulbul among others. After the sezibwa falls tour, you will go for lunch and after proceed with the journey to jinja city. On arrival to jinja city, you will head to your lodge for dinner and night stay.
DAY 2; SOURCE OF THE NILE BOAT CRUISE AND TRANSFER TO SIPI FALLS
After breakfast, you will drive to the source of the Nile for a breath taking boat ride on river Nile where you will have views of the beautiful scenery, water birds such as fish eagles, hornbills, and cormorants among others. After the boat ride, you will go for lunch and embark on the journey to sipi falls in kapchorwa. On arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; SIPI FALLS HIKE AND COFFEE TOUR
After breakfast, you will go for a sipi falls hike that starts with a briefing from the local guide. After the briefing, you will be given a walking stick for support and start hiking the 3 waterfalls which take 3 to 4 hours depending on the physical fitness of the hikers. Each of the water falls gives an amazing and unique experience where you will view mt elgon slopes, karamoja plains, Lake Kyoga and a stopover at the small cave for a relaxation. After the sipi falls hike, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will have a coffee tour where you will meet the local farmers and visit their plantation to learn about the life cycle of Arabic coffee, visit the processing plant, learn about the art of roasting coffee and end the tour with a cup of coffee. After the tour you will drive back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Kampala. On the way you will have lunch and proceed with the journey to Kampala. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the Entebbe airport for a flight back home or any place of convenience.
