12 Days Uganda Luxury Gorilla and Wildlife Safari is an amazing tour that introduces you to the most adventurous national parks such as Murchison falls national park, kibale national park Lake Mburo national park and queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot animals such crocodiles, rhinos, elands, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, giraffes, zebras, Jackson’s hartebeest and bushbucks as well as bird species while on game drives. The Uganda safari takes you to Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Uganda AND Bwindi national park where you will spend an hour with the endangered mountain gorillas and chimpanzees within their natural habitat.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO A HOTEL IN ENTEBBE
Depending on your arrival time at the airport, the safari guide will pick you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for dinner and preparation for the next day activities.
DAY 2; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK WITH RHINO TRACKING
After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on your journey to Murchison falls national park. The journey takes 5 to 6 hours and you will have a stopover at the ziwa rhino sanctuary for a rhino tracking and continue with the journey with another stopover for lunch in masindi. After lunch, you will proceed with the journey to Murchison falls national park and on arrival you will directly head to the top of the falls where you will have views of waterfalls, scenery and animals and many more. From the top of the falls, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
In the early morning after breakfast, you will head to the park for a morning game drive. While on the game drive you will view animals such as warthogs, giraffes, lions, hyenas, leopards, elephants, Uganda kob and buffaloes grazing on the savannah plains with due. After the morning game drive you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will have an amazing boat cruise at the bottom of the falls. You will head to paraa jetty landing site and the cruise takes 2 to 3 hours. While on the cruise, you will spot large concentration of hippos and crocodiles in water, animals such as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and antelopes along the water banks, water bird species such as cormorants, kingfishers and fish eagle among others. After the cruise, you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to kibale national park. The journey takes 6 to 7 hours drive with enroute lunch as you enjoy views of mountain Rwenzori, crater lakes, beautiful scenery, traditional home steads among others. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 5; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND BIGODI SWAMP WALK
After the morning breakfast, you will head to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the forest in search of the habituated chimpanzees. Besides the chimpanzees, you will spot other primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, vervet monkeys and red-tailed monkeys as well as bird species and mammals among others. Once the chimpanzees are found, you will spend an hour as you watch them play, hunt, feed and breastfeed as you take pictures and videos. After the trekking you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go to a nature walk in Bigodi wetland where you will spot primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, I’hoest monkeys, grey checked mangabey and red tailed monkeys as well as various bird species. After you will head back to the lodge.
DAY 6; TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. On the way you will have amazing views of tea plantations, crater lakes and on arrival you will check into the lodge for lunch.
Later in the afternoon, you will have a game drive and you will spot animals such as buffalos, elephants, bushbucks, Uganda kob, lions, hyenas and leopards among others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 7; MORNING GAME DRIVE/LION TRACKING EXPERIENCE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
You will have an early morning breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive or lion tracking experience in kasenyi plains. While on the game drive, you will spot animals such as Uganda kob, waterbucks, elephants, bushbucks, lions, leopards, buffaloes and hyenas as well as bird species among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go to the kazinga channel for a boat cruise which is more rewarding with amazing views of hippos and crocodiles in water, elephants, warthogs, antelopes and buffaloes, water birds such as hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers, and fish eagles among others. After you will drive back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and night stay.
DAY 8; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
After the morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to bwindi impenetrable national park. While on the way, you will have en-route lunch and proceed to the national park which is famously known for having half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 9; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and drive to the parks headquarters for a briefing with packed lunch. After the briefing, you will be grouped into 8 people and allocated a habituated gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is well conversant with the trails in the national park. While on the trek you will spot animals such as chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys and mammals as well as bird species among others. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch them play, feed, groom their young ones as you take photos and record every moment. After the trekking, you will head back to the park headquarters for a certificate and later head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 10; TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI
After the morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will have a boat cruise or canoe ride where you will explore the lake and as well view a number of bird species among others. After the boat ride, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 11; LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast in the morning, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Mburo national park. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will head for a boat cruise where you will spot crocodiles and hippos in water, view animals such as waterbucks, buffaloes, warthogs and elephants along the shores and water bird species among others. After the boat cruise, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.

After having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and go for a morning game drive within the park. You will spot animals such as elands, zebras, waterbucks, giraffes, topi and buffalos among others. After the game dive you will drive out of the park and embark on the journey back to Kampala with enroute lunch. You will have a stopover at the equator in kayabwe where you will take pictures and buy souvenirs. On arrival at Kampala, the safari driver will drop you at the Entebbe airport tor your flight back home or any place of convenience.
