The 4 days Kibale and queen Elizabeth national park safari gives you the chance to explore the two interesting national parks in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth national park is a home to the unique tree climbing lions and Kibale national park which is known to be a primate hub of Uganda with a variety of primate species which makes the Uganda safari a memorable one. While on the safari you will engage in activities such as chimpanzee trekking where you will learn more about the primate species as well as bird species and animals.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

You will meet your guide early in the morning and have a briefing about your safari. After the briefing you will embark on a journey to Kibale national park with a stopover at the Uganda equator at kayabwe. You will take part in the experiment of the northern and southern hemisphere which is amazing. After the experience, you will embark on the way to Kibale with another stopover in fort portal for late lunch and then head to the national park. You will check into your lodge for a refreshment, dinner and night stay.

DAY 2; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING

Early in the morning after breakfast, the Uganda safari guide will drive you to kanyanchu area for the chimpanzee trekking. While on the trekking of chimpanzees, you will spot other primates such as baboons, colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, red monkeys, grey checked mangabey among others.

After meeting the habituated chimpanzees, you will spend an hour with them as you learn more about their behaviors such as feeding patterns, their co-existence with one another among others. After the trekking, you will head back to your lodge for lunch. After lunch you will have a nature walk to Bigodi swamp sanctuary where you will spot a number of bird species such as African kingfisher, spoonbills and papyrus gonolek among others. After you will head to Queen Elizabeth national park check into your lodge for dinner and night stay

DAY 3; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND EVENING BOAT CRUISE

Tree Climbing Lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast in the morning, you will have an early morning drive where you will have a chance to spot animals grazing in the plains such as antelopes, buffaloes, impalas and elands. Then head to ishasha sector for the lion tracking experience where the tree climbing lions will be seen. After having the adventure, you will be able to head back to the hotel for lunch and relax.

After lunch, you will drive to kazinga channel for a boat cruise. While on the boat cruise, you will spot birds such as shoebill, flamingos, kingfishers, northern lapwing, and red necked grebe among others. Animals such hippos, waterbucks, crocodiles and buffaloes are spotted sunbathing. After, you will head back to your hotel and relax, wait for dinner and a night stay

DAY 4; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

After the morning breakfast, you will be picked from the hotel and transfer back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at igongo cultural center where you will visit the craft shop and buy some souvenir and served lunch. After you will head to Kampala and be dropped to the Entebbe airport or any location of your choice.
