3 days Kibale national park safari is a very fascinating safari which takes you to Kibale national park within the western region where you will meet face to face with the endangered chimpanzees as well as other primates like the grey-cheeked mangabey, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys and olive baboons in their natural home. While on the Uganda safari you will have a nature walk in bigodi swamp where you will see amazing views of various bird species, primates, butterflies as well as mammals among others.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Upon arrival at the airport in Entebbe, you will be received by the driver and briefs you about the safari and after set off for the journey using kampala-mubende road. The journey is a 5 to 6 hour drive and a stopover in fort portal for lunch where views of crater lakes are seen and the rwenzori mountain ranges among others. On arrival at the national park you will check into the hotel and relax from the tiresome journey, have dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND BIGODI SWAMP WALK
After an early morning breakfast, the driver will take you to the parks headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations of the chimpanzee trekking. And after you will be allocated a chimpanzee family to trek with the help of a guide who knows the trails in the forest. The trekking takes 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees. During the trek you will spot wildlife species, butterflies, birds, plants, primates, mammals among others. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend on hour with them and observe their behaviors, habits, watch them feed, breastfeed, play, hunt, fight, rest and take photos and record videos. After the trekking, you will return to the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will head for the nature walk in bigodi sanctuary where you will spot primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, l’hoest monkeys, red tailed monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, mammals such as sitatungas, bushbucks among others, and the amazing bird species such as the great blue turaco, green breasted pitta, papyrus gonolek and many more. After the walk you will relax at the lodge and have dinner and a night stay
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After the morning breakfast the driver will pick you up and transfer back to Kampala. A stopover at the igongo cultural center and have lunch and after continue with the journey to Kampala. Upon arrival the driver will drop you to Entebbe airport or drop you off at any place of advice.
