The 3 day Bwindi gorilla trekking safari takes you to Bwindi national park a home to the endangered mountain gorillas and it has half of the world’s population. The national park is located in the south western region and it gives the best gorilla trekking experience. Besides the mountain gorillas you will be able to spot primates, mammals as well as birds which call the national park a home.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
A pick up from the hotel or place of residence at 6am after breakfast and start off the journey and it’s an 8 to 9 hours’ drive. However long the journey is its worthy because of amazing sceneries with the beautiful landscapes. A stop over at the equator at kayabwe for photography as well as an amazing experiment. After we proceed to mbarara for lunch and after lunch we proceed to bwindi national park. After you will check in your lodge and have dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Early morning after breakfast, you will head to ruhija park headquarters for a briefing and after proceed with the trekking into the forest. The trekking takes 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the mountain gorilla family. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend an hour with them as you observe their behaviors as well as taking photographs. After the trek you will be awarded certificates to confirm your participation in the trekking of gorillas. And after you will go back to the hotel and relax from the hectic day, have dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After breakfast, prepare and be driven back to Kampala and a stopover at the equator to purchase souvenirs and relax before you continue to the airport or any place of your choice
