3 days Kibale forest birding safari introduces you to a birding safari in Kibale forest national park where you will be able to watch a number of bird species. The national park is a home to over 370 bird species and these include Narina trogon, black-billed turaco, emerald cuckoo, chestnut wattle eye, green breasted pitta and blue-shouldered robin-chat among others. Besides birds the national park is famous for being a home to primates and that’s why it’s called a primate capital.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, you will be picked by the safari guide from your point of location and brief you about the safari. After you will embark on the journey to Kibale national park. On arrival you will head to your lodge, relax and have lunch. After lunch, you will visit the bigodi swamp where you spot a number of primates and it’s also good for nature lovers.
DAY 2; BIRD WATCHING –KIBALE FOREST
After your morning breakfast, you will head to Kibale forest to watch notable bird species. Birds such as dusky crimson wing, white-napped pigeon, yellow-rumped tinker bird, black bee-eater, black-capped apalis and Abyssinian ground thrush among others. After, you will head back to the lodge and have dinner as well as a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After the morning breakfast, you will go for a community walk and explore the surrounding. While on the walk, you will spot bird species. After you will head back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will embark on the journey back to Kampala. On reaching Kampala you will be dropped at the airport for your flight back home
