Murchison falls National Park was a reserve in 1926 and has an area cover of 38000 square kilometers making it the largest national park. The national park was named after the Murchison falls which flows within the national park in two different directions that is the south and north banks.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS AND STOP OVER AT THE ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY
At 7am the driver will pick you from the hotel and brief you about the Uganda wildlife safari and after set off for the 6 hour journey. While on the journey you will spot fruits, roasted meat and chicken, cassava among others there will be a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the black and white rhinoceros.
The sanctuary was set up in 2005 and introduced the rhinos. After the trekking you will head to Masindi for lunch and then proceed to Murchison falls national park and check into the hotel for relaxation from the long day. Have dinner and the night stay

DAY 2; MORNING GAME DRIVE, BOAT CRUISE AT THE RIVER NILE AND HIKING TO THE TOP OF FALLS
At 7am early morning after breakfast, you will be taken for the morning game drive along the delta of Lake Albert where you will see the amazing savannah grassland which overlooks the budongo forest. Besides the grassland you will see a number of animals such as warthogs, antelopes, lions, giraffes as well as primates. After you will go back to the hotel and have lunch and prepare for the boat cruise.
While on the boat cruise you will spot a number of bird species such as the shoebill, kingfisher among others, Nile crocodiles, hippos, lizards, elephants and many more. After you will head to the top of the falls where you will see the amazing falls as well as the surrounding vegetation. After the guide will pick you and head to the hotel and relax from the day’s activities.
DAY 3; GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will head to the morning game drive in the park and then later embark on the journey back to Kampala. A stop over at masindi for lunch and continue to Kampala where you will reach late in the evening and then head to the airport for your flight or place of residence.
