7 days Rwanda safari is an amazing safari which takes you to two adventurous national parks of volcanoes where you will have an hour with the mountain gorillas as well as the golden monkeys. Nyungwe forest which is a home to 13 different primates where you will spend an hour with the chimpanzees as well as have a canopy walk on a suspended bridge.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; ARRIVAL TO KIGALI
On arrival at the airport, you will be picked by the safari guide and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will head to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will set off to Kigali for a city tour where you will see Kigali memorial grounds, markets and craft shops among others. After you will head back to your lodge for a relaxation and prepare for the next day activities.
DAY 2; TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to the volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you can opt to spend the evening at the lodge or go for a guided tour to the twin lakes of burera and ruhondo. After the tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; GORILLA TREKKING
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and head to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the forest with the help of the park rangers in search of the mountain gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch them play, feed, hunt and breastfeed as you take photos and record memories. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 4; GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and head to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will enter into the forest in search of the golden monkeys which is so interesting. Once the monkeys are located, you will spend an hour with them as you take pictures and record moments as well. After, you will head back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch in the evening, you will have a cultural excursion to the iby’iwacu cultural village to experience the traditional performance. After, you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 5; TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
You will have breakfast and check out of the lodge then embark on the journey to Nyungwe forest national park. The park is famous for being a home to primates, while on the journey you will have an enroute lunch. On arrival, you will head to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 6; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND CANOPY WALK
You will have an early morning breakfast and head to the parks head office with packed lunch and water for a briefing. After the briefing, you will enter into the forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend an hour with them as you take photos and record memories as well. After, you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head for a canopy walk which takes 3 to 2 hours. This involves walking on the 150meter stretch and elevated at 50 meters above the ground. It’s one of the nicest canopy walks on the globe. After the walk, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 7; TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
In the morning after having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kigali. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the international airport for your flight back home or any place of advise.
