3 days Nyungwe national park safari introduces you to the best experience in the forest. The safari includes chimpanzee trekking within the forest, canopy walk, and nature walk as well as visiting the historical sites. As the trip comes to an end, you will be amazed about the beauty of the country because of what it offers.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; PICK UP AND TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning at 7am you will be picked up from Kigali and transferred to Nyungwe national park which is found in the southwest of Rwanda. The journey is a 5 to 6 hours and a lunch break along the way. On arrival to the park, you will head to the visitors center and head for canopy walk which gives an amazing view of the forest. The canopy walk gives a view of the monkeys as well as birds. After you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
DAY 2; CHIMPANZEE AND PRIMATE TREKKING AS WELL AS VISIT TO GISAKURA TEA ESTATE
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will head to gisakura the national park headquarters at 5am and meet the park guides. You will be briefed with other trekkers and begin off with the trekking in the forest. After the trekking, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
After lunch, you will head to gisakura tea estate where you will be taken through the tea growing process, harvesting and packaging it. You will be given to taste the final product. After you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; GUIDED NATURE WALK AND TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
Early in the morning, you will go on a guided nature walk hike in the national park. Nyungwe national park has 19 hiking trails that gives the visitor to explore fully the forest. You will trek the Isumo waterfall trail which takes 4hours to complete.
After the guided nature walk, you will be transferred back to Kigali where you will be dropped at the hotel or at the airport for your flight which will mark the end of your Rwanda Safari
