3 days Nyiragongo volcano hiking safari takes you to an adventurous mount Nyiragongo one of the active volcanoes in the democratic republic of Congo. The mountain is known to have erupted 34 times and the most dangerous one being the one of 2002.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; PICK UP FROM KIGALI AND TRANSFER TO GOMA
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from Kigali, have a briefing about the 3 days Nyiragongo volcano hiking safari. After have a short tour within Kigali which involves visiting the kimironko market and the genocide memorial. Then head for lunch and after cross over to Goma where you will get a volcano permit thereafter transfer to your hotel and relax for the evening, have dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; NYIRAGONGO HIKING
Early in the morning, you will have a drive and cross the Congo border, then report to Bukima and begin the Nyiragongo hike with a night say at the summit. While at the summit, you will enjoy amazing views of the lava lake.
DAY 3; DESCEND NYIRAGONGO AND TRANSFER TO KIGALI
Early in the morning, you will start to descend mount nyiragongo as you go back to Bukima and depart Congo as you head back to Kigali. Have lunch and visit the kaplaki craft village and drop off at your hotel or airport for your flight.
