DAY 1; TRANSFER FROM KIGALI-GOMA TO TCHEGERA ISLAND
Depending on your location, your driver guide will pick you and brief you about the safari and after start on the journey to kituku port. This is where the boat heading to the island is stationed. After reaching the port, you will board the boat with all your luggage that you will need for the night. After arriving at the Tchegera Island in time, you will have lunch and check into the available cottages. After you will spend the whole evening enjoying the breeze or a guided nature walk on the island. After have dinner and a camp fire to keep you warm as you spend the night at the Island.
DAY 2; DEPART FROM TCHEGERA ISLAND BACK TO KIGALI
You will wake up early, as the proverb says the early bird catches the worm. You will enjoy the last moments at the island with a cup of coffee and after board the boat. The boat ride to the land takes an hour and thereafter you will be dropped off at Kigali. With time you can have a visit to the Kigali genocide grounds with history of the 1994 events. Kimironko market for souvenirs among others. After you can head to the airport for your flight back home.
