Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge is simultaneously a budget and mid-range accommodation found in Mucha area simply 10 km from Kisoro town in proximity to the southern gate of Bwindi forest national park just (20km) and 25km from Mgahinga national park 20 km from Kyanika border. You can be at the lodge either by road or air transport from Kisoro airstrip. Gorilla tracking.
This is the most frequently done activity in the park and Mgahinga has only one gorilla family ‘’Nyakagezi group. This activity starts early in the morning with a briefing about gorilla rules. After you will be grouped in a group of 8 people by a park ranger. The gorilla experience can take about 30 minutes to 6hours depends on their movements. Once they are allocated, trackers are given an hour to spend with gorillas -learn about their behaviors, feed, play and build their nest beds in the evening.
Golden monkey trekking.
Golden monkey trekking is the fascinating safari activity that is enjoyed by various tourists on a Uganda safari in Mgahinga Gorilla national park. Visitors staying in the following lodge enjoy the opportunity of golden monkey trekking. The activity starts with a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during golden monkey, the activity takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the location of the golden monkeys. Along the way looking for the golden monkeys you will be impressed with the various biodiversity in the forest and once these golden monkeys are located you will be rewarded with one hour in the presence of the golden monkeys that is watching them feed, watching the gorillas climbing from trees to trees, watching the monkeys playing, taking their pictures and recording their movies, and among others. After the experience you will be transferred back to the starting point that awarded with the golden monkey certificates for taking part in golden monkey trekking.

Batwa tour.
What a wonderful opportunity one shouldn’t miss on visit on safari to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Visiting the Batwa pygmies -you will enjoy the traditional ways of life of these people. They lived in park for over three centuries and it came to an end in 1991 when Government evicted them from the park in a great impact to conserve its critically endangered mountain gorillas. Today, they live around the park and can be visited by the tourists who are culture lovers.

Mgahinga National Park is home to many different bird species which can be watched along your birding day in the park such as Pin-tailed whydah, Kivu ground thrush, Black kite, Dusky crimson wing, speckled mousebird, Ruwenzori turaco among others.
Mountain climbing ‘’Mount Sabyinyo.
This is wonder -promoting experience which is done through a succession of analyzing vegetation that cover their slopes. From bottom to up, you will experience the regenerating farmland, followed by denser montane woodland and bamboo forest, Hagenia-hypercium forest as well as a windswept moorland that boasts of giant lobelias and groundsel. Hiking to and from the summit of each mountain- can take about 8 to 13 hours. Note, you required to be physically fit in the body for the perfect hike.
