But in the past years, due to conservation efforts mountain gorilla species have been moved from the critically endangered list to the international union for conservation of natures endangered species list [IUCN]. Mountain gorillas are indigenous species of the albertine area and bwindi forest. Mountain gorillas are found in 4 national parks in countries of Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo.
