The 3 days Akagera national park Safari takes you to the game drives in the national park as well as a boat cruise on Lake Ihema. The national park has a number of mammals such as buffalos, giraffes lions, zebras, rhinos and hippos among others.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
Meet up with the guide and have a briefing early in the morning and then head to akagera national park. There will be a stopover in the city where you will visit the Kigali genocide, Kimironko market, former presidential palace and few of the shops. After we proceed up to Akagera national park in 2 or 3 hour’s time.
Before heading to the park we will stop at the nyakarambi village and learn more about the cow dung paintings by the kakira women cooperative. After proceed to the park and check in the hotel and after head for a boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will spot crocodiles, buffalos and hippos among others. After you will head back to the hotel and have dinner as well as a night stay.

DAY 2; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND EVENING GAME DRIVE
Early in the morning after breakfast you will head for the morning game drive where you will see a number of animals depending on the different tracks in the park. After the morning game drive you will head back to the hotel for lunch and refreshment.
After lunch, you will again head for the evening game drive where you will spot a number of mammals such as giraffes, topi, zebras, buffalos and impalas among others. Akagera national park is a home to over 500 bird species and these can be spotted while on a game drive. After you will head back to the hotel for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
After the morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the other section of the park and then after we proceed back to Kigali. Have a bit of a city tour and head to the airport or place of residence to thrive in a Rwanda wildlife Safari
