6 days Uganda flying safari is an amazing adventure that take you to Murchison falls national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park which is home to half the world’s population of mountain gorillas. While on the Uganda safari you will get to spend an hour with the mountain gorillas as well as spot other animals such as buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, ugandakobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, and Nile crocodiles among others.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; FLY TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Depending on your location, the guide will pick you and transfer you to Entebbe airport for your domestic flight to Pakuba airstrip which departs at 12;05 pm. On arrival the Uganda safari guide will pick you and transfer you to the lodge.
After lunch, you will wait for an evening game drive where you will spot animals such as waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kob, elephants and oribi among others. After the game drive, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
After morning breakfast, the safari guide will pick you and take you to the park for the morning game drive where you will spot animals such as elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda kob and giraffes grazing in the savannah plains, predators such as leopards and lions before they head back to their hiding places. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a breath taking boat cruise to the bottom of the falls which starts at Paraa jetty landing site. The cruise takes 2 to 3 hours and you will spot large concentration of hippos and crocodiles within water, view animals such as buffaloes, warthogs, and elephants among others as well as water birds such as kingfishers, bee-eaters and fish eagle and many more. After the boat cruise you will return to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
DAY 3; NILE DELTA BOAT CRUISE AND AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE
After breakfast in the morning, you will head to paraa jetty landing site for an amazing Nile delta boat cruise. While on the boat cruise, you will have amazing views of animals, beautiful scenery, water birds such as goliath heron, African jacana, African skimmer, pied kingfisher and the rare shoebill among others. After the ride, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will you will have an optional afternoon game drive within the park where we shall have great views of animals you might have missed in the previous game drive. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay
DAY 4; TOP OF THE FALLS AND FLY TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
After your morning breakfast, you will head to the top of the falls where you will enjoy amazing views of the waterfalls, beautiful sceneries and the water splashes among others. From the top of the falls, you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will checkout of the lodge and transfer to Pakuba airstrip for your domestic flight to kihihi airstrip. The flight departs at 13;20pm and arrives at 14;25pm. On arrival the driver guide will pick you and transfer you to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 5; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
You will have an early morning breakfast and head to the parks headquarters for a briefing with packed lunch. After the briefing, you will be grouped into 8 individuals where each group is allocated a gorilla family to trek. After, you will enter into the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas with the help of a park ranger. The trekking takes 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on the location of the mountain gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch their behaviors and their day to day activities such as feeding, breastfeeding, playing as you take photos and record memories. After the trekking, you will return to the parks headquarters for a certificate for participating in the trekking activity. After you will return to your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and night stay.
DAY 6; FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
You will have a leisurely breakfast and check out of the lodge. After, you will be transferred to kihihi airstrip for your domestic departure flight to Entebbe airport. The flight departs at 9;30 am and arrives at Entebbe at 11;25am.
