4 days Uganda gorillas and golden monkey trekking safari is an amazing safari which takes you to bwindi impenetrable national park in the southwestern Uganda where you will spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas. After the mountain gorillas, you will spend time with the golden monkeys in Mgahinga gorilla national park.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENENTRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, you will be picked up by the safari guide and brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will start the journey to bwindi impenetrable national park. A stopover at the equator where you will take photos, buy souvenirs and embark on the journey where you will stop in mbarara for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to the park. On arrival you will check into your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING
After breakfast early in the morning, you will be transferred to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing you will be grouped into 8 individuals with a park ranger and head into the forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend with them an hour as you watch them play, feed, relate with one another, breast feed among others. After you will take pictures with them and videos then head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER TO MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK FOR GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING
On the 3rd day of your 4 days Uganda gorillas and golden monkey trekking safari, you will check out of the lodge early in the morning and transfer to Mgahinga national parks headquarters for a briefing. After you will start the trek in the forest in search of the habituated golden monkeys which takes 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their location. While on the trek you will watch other primates such as grey cheeked monkeys, white and black colobus monkeys and many more. Once the golden monkeys are spotted, you will spend with them an hour as you watch them play, breastfeed, jump up in trees and many more as you take photos and videos. After you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you can either relax or head to a boat cruise on Lake Mutanda where you will enjoy views of the Virunga Mountains, landscape, aquatic birds and many more. After you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After having a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and transfer back to Kampala. On the way you will have an enroute lunch as you enjoy the views of the kigezi hills, traditional homesteads and many more. On reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off to the airport for your flight back home or any place of convenience
