4 days Ngamba Island and Bwindi gorilla trekking introduces you to Ngamba Island which is a chimpanzee sanctuary that is found on the islands of Lake Victoria. The safari further takes you to Bwindi national park which is a home to half the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

DETATILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO NGAMBA ISLAND FOR CHIMPANZEE TREKKING
The safari driver guide will pick you and brief you about the safari. After you will be transferred to Ngamba Island by boat. The island is a home to over 50 chimpanzees. On arrival at the sanctuary, you will be oriented and later given the opportunity to watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will find the chimpanzees being fed by the caregivers, after feeding them you will be allowed to explore the island. After you will head to Kampala town and check in your lodge, relax, have dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; TRANSFER TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, the driver will pick you and embark on the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. There will be a stopover at the equator for pictures and as well purchase souvenirs. After you will proceed with the journey and have lunch in mbarara. After lunch you will proceed up to bwindi national park. On arrival, you will check in your lodge and freshen up and wait for the next day activity.

DAY 3; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning after having breakfast, you will head to the national parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head to the forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas with the help of the park ranger. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend with them an hour and learn their habits, watch them play, feed, hunt and breastfeed among others. You will take photos and videos to have memories and you will be awarded a certificate. After you will head back to your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. At stopover at Igongo cultural center and have lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with the journey. On reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
