DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, you will be picked by a safari guide and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will have a stopover at the equator for photography and the next stopover will be at igongo cultural center for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed up to the national park. On arrival, you will check into your lodge and freshen up as you prepare for the next day activities.
DAY 2; FIRST GORILLA HABITUATION EXPERIENCE
After the morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Rushaga sector for a briefing. After the briefing, you will enter the forest with the help of park rangers, researchers and doctors to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. Once they are located you will spend 4 hours with the gorillas as you watch their behaviors and learn more about them. You will take videos and photos for memories. After, you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; SECOND GORILLA HABITUATION EXPERIENCE
After the morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After you will head to the forest for the second time in search for the mountain gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend 4 hours with them as you learn more about them and take pictures as well. After the experience, you will return back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
After breakfast in the morning you will check out of the lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala. While on the way, you will have an enroute lunch and proceed with the journey. On reaching to Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
