DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
The safari guide will pick you depending on your location and be briefed about your Uganda gorilla safari. After you will embark on the journey to bwindi via cyanika border. On arrival in kisoro you will be transferred to Rushaga sector or any sector depending on your booking. After you will check into your lodge and relax as you wait for the next day activities.
DAY 2; GORILLA HABITUATION EXPERIENCE
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will head to the parks headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head to the mist forest with researchers, scientists and park rangers to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. When the gorillas are found, you will spend 4 hours with them as you learn more about them and training them how to get used to human beings. After you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation and dinner as well as a night stay.
DAY 3; RETURN BACK TO KIGALI
After your relaxed breakfast in the morning, you will check out of the lodge and start the journey back to Kigali. While in Kigali city, you will have lunch and have a city tour and later be dropped off to the airport for your flight back home.
