3 days fly in gorilla habituation experience takes you to the misty forest of Bwindi national park where you will spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas under the habituation process. The national park is a home to 120 mammals such as elephants, antelopes, over 400 mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, l’hoest monkeys, 350 bird species which include albertine rift endemics among others while on your Uganda safari.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; PICK UP AND FLY TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you and brief you about the Uganda Gorilla safari and drive you to Entebbe airport for your domestic flight to kihihi or kisoro airstrip. Upon arrival at the airstrip, the driver will transfer you to your lodge for a relaxation and lunch.
After lunch you will have a cultural visit to the batwa community. You will be able to learn their ways of living, how they lived in the forest before it was gazetted into a national park, visit their homesteads, farmlands, enjoy their traditional songs, dances among others. After the cultural tour you will return to your lodge for dinner and a night stay
DAY 2; GORILLA HABITUATION IN BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, you will have your breakfast and the driver will take you to the national parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing you will start the trek and you will be accompanied by researchers, scientists, park rangers and gorilla doctors. The habituation process is done in the Rushaga sector in the southern part of the national park and only 4 people visit each gorilla family. The habituation takes almost the whole day and while on the trek you will have views of animals such as elephants, duikers, and primates like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys as well as a number of birds. When the gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend an hour with them as you observe their habits, lifestyle, watch them feed, play, breast feed and take photos as well as have videos.
After the trek, you will head back to the headquarters and be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and later head to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and overnight
DAY 3; DEPARTURE FLIGHT TO KAMPALA
After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive up to kihihi or kisoro airstrips for your departure back to Kampala or Entebbe where you will get your international flight back home as well as Kampala hotel depending on your schedule while on a Uganda safari.
