DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; CITY TOUR AND TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
On arrival in Kigali, the driver guide will pick you and brief you about the whole safari. After you will head to Kigali city for a city tour as you visit places such as Kimironko market and Gisozi genocide memorial site. After you will have lunch and transfer to Musanze near the volcanoes national park. There you will head to your lodge freshen up as you wait for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will head to the national park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will be accompanied by the park rangers in search of the mountain gorillas. The trek takes 2 to 8 hours depending on their movements. After finding them, you will be allowed to spend an hour with them. After, you will head back to your lodge for relaxation, have dinner, and a night’s stay.
DAY 3; GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING AND DEPARTURE
After having breakfast early in the morning, you will head to the national park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the national park to search for the golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. The trek lasts for 2 to 5 hours depending on their movements. After the trek, you drive to Kigali and proceed to the airport for your flight.
